OpenShop is a secure enterprise application store offered as part of the OpenPeak ADAM suite of services. OpenShop brings together developers, enterprises and service providers in a secure and customizable marketplace. It alleviates enterprises from having to roll out their own application store for in-house apps. Service providers and enterprises find OpenShop appealing for its ability to become a custom-branded application store for their customers or associates. Multiple billing and licensing options are also supported, including subscription services and integration with a service provider’s billing systems.
In addition to delivering apps that are optimized for specific devices, OpenShop can be coupled with our ADAM Device Management platform to provide a complete device and application management solution.
The addition of SANCTION device manager and SECTOR profile manager allow IT administrators and end users additional functionality such as a powerful personal device application that separates work and personal profiles via a PIM container, the ability to push applications and content, revoke problem applications on specific devices, and manage configuration bundles that can be distributed to a large group of devices. |

Application Lifecycle
OpenShop presents complete application lifecycle management with web-based portals and role-based access control. Developers can upload apps for testing; enterprise testers preview, test, and approve submitted apps; and enterprise app administrators make approved apps available to the storefront. Life cycle management also includes versioning, device targets, application revocation, revenue sharing as well as extensive business intelligence facilities.

Application Management
OpenShop, coupled with SANCTION, allows for complete on-device application management. Applications can be whitelisted or blacklisted. The policy editor can be used to allow or disallow the execution of applications during specific times of day or in specific geographic or network regions. Administrators can check application usage statistics and examine the versions of applications that are currently installed. |

Analytics
OpenShop is a true multi-platform content distribution system. In addition to hosting applications for different device platforms, OpenShop can serve content (e.g., compliance videos), HTML5 multi-platform applications, and virtualized applications. OpenShop also reports detailed data to the ADAM Analytics engine to provide robust management reporting on individual application usage. |
